1. Our services
Brandline Studio provides website design and development (Starter, Business and Premium packages, plus add-ons like hosting, SEO and ongoing care), and custom-printed apparel and promotional products (mugs, shirts, caps and similar items). By enquiring about or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Quotes and pricing
The price estimator on this site gives a rough guide only based on the package and add-ons you select. It is not a binding quote. Final pricing — for both website packages and apparel orders — is confirmed after a short call or written exchange where we understand your specific needs, page count, or order quantity.
Apparel pricing depends on quantity, design complexity, and print method, so it is always quoted per order rather than published as a fixed price.
3. How a project works
Typically, a website project follows this path:
- A short call or written discussion to understand what you need.
- A design concept, which you review and approve before we build.
- Build, test, and launch.
- Ongoing care if you've added a support plan.
Turnaround times we mention (for example, "a couple of weeks") are estimates, not guarantees, and depend on how quickly we receive your content, feedback and approvals.
4. Payment terms
- Website packages are billed monthly. Hosting, domain, and any add-ons (SEO, Care Plus) are billed alongside the package unless agreed otherwise.
- Larger or custom projects may require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due on completion or per an agreed milestone schedule.
- Apparel orders are generally paid upfront or via deposit before production starts, given items are custom-made per order.
- Late payment may pause active work or ongoing hosting/support until the account is settled.
5. Apparel orders
Because mugs, shirts, caps and similar items are custom-printed to order, please double-check sizes, colours and artwork before approving production. Minor variation in colour or placement between the digital proof and the final printed item is normal, given the nature of printing and embroidery processes.
6. Ownership and intellectual property
Once a website project is paid in full, the final website and its content belong to you. We retain the right to showcase completed work (screenshots, links, and a short description) in our own portfolio and marketing, unless you ask us in writing to keep a project confidential.
Any design assets, code snippets, or tools we've built for general use across multiple clients (not specific to your project) remain our property.
7. What we need from you
Timely responses, content (text, images, logos) and feedback make the biggest difference to how quickly a project moves. Delays in providing these will extend the project timeline accordingly.
8. Limitation of liability
We do our best to deliver reliable, well-tested websites and quality printed goods, but we can't guarantee a website will be completely error-free at all times, or that third-party services we rely on (hosting, forms, WhatsApp, payment processors) will have zero downtime. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you've paid us for that specific service.
9. Third-party services
Our websites may rely on third-party tools such as FormSubmit (contact forms), WhatsApp (messaging), hosting providers, and — where enabled — Anthropic's AI service for the chat assistant. We aren't responsible for outages, policy changes, or issues originating from these third-party providers, though we'll do our best to help resolve any impact on your site.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will first be approached in good faith directly between the parties before any formal process.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our services evolve. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
